On 29 and 30 March 2025, the hairstyling industry will once again celebrate its highlight event of the year for two days in Düsseldorf under the motto ‘ROCK YOUR HEAD’ - full of creativity, inspiration and networking opportunities. TOP HAIR - DIE MESSE offers a unique experience consisting of a trade fair, breathtaking shows, practical workshops and inspiring lectures. In three halls, 440 brands and exhibitors from 21 countries will present hair professionals with innovations and current trends that move the industry.
It’s Showtime! The stars of the scene on the runway
The TOP HAIR Runway on the Main Stage will once again become a melting pot of hairdressing artistry. In the big evening show on Saturday, Kao Salon will present Goldwell Global Brand Ambassador Mario Krankl feat. Hairdreams. The ‘king of the avant-garde’ has been inspiring the international hairdressing scene for years with his extravagant shows and sheer boundless creativity and will once again be setting new standards on the runway. Patrick Cameron, the updo guru and long hair professional from New Zealand, will be presenting bridal styling from classic to boho for the first time at the TOP HAIR trade fair in March 2025 in ‘The Bridal Show’. Hollywood hair superstar Guy Tang will show how to perfect modern blonding techniques with New Flag PRO in ‘Bleach, Bond and Beyond’. Christoph Filser, ‘Insta-Hairdresser’ and entrepreneur, will be presenting unusual salon concepts, while WAHL Professional will be holding the ‘Barber of the Year’ competition in Germany for the first time - live on the Main Stage with a high-calibre jury. Other shows include J.7 x Goldwell Creative Team and TCC Healthy Hair Cut. The Barber's Experience will award the Barber's Crown in the final of the Cut & Conquer Tour 2025.
Experience trends and techniques up close in around 60 professional workshops
The Workshop Stage is all about the latest techniques, trends and inspiration. Around 60 practical workshops offer in-depth insights into the craft. There is something for everyone here: Tom Hannemann, for example, decodes the secrets of ingredients in hair care in ‘INCI DECODED’. Wella Professionals and L'Oréal Professionnel pick up on the ‘Glass Hair’ trend and show how to create ultra-luminous shine. Swiss hairdresser Martin Dürrenmatt will be creating a stunning look for greying hair for Goldwell in ‘Silver Ladies’, while award-winning keynote speaker and entrepreneur Fabio Barattucci will be presenting a luxurious salon wellness experience with ‘Yume Head Spa’. Lee Quinn, international O&M ambassador, will be demonstrating first-class blonding techniques with his team in ‘Aussie Blondes, Bronde's and Brunettes’.
Speaker Stage: Where innovation meets inspiration
The Speaker Stage offers interesting, engaging and entertaining talks, keynotes and business presentations: Topics include ‘’Kollaps und Kekse‘’ - a courageous talk about the life and death of hairdressing culture by Cihan Bulut and Andreas Sebastian Ehrle, the ‘two mouthpieces of hairdressers’. In ‘You're a star!’, coach Nicole Hinum catapults hairdressing marketing to a new level with the right strategy. In his presentation ‘Rock your health and Rock your business’, author and physiotherapist Johannes Randolf will reveal how hairdressers can rock their health with astonishing ease and become top performers in their own salons. Christoph Filser, hairdressing entrepreneur from Kempten, will demonstrate how artificial intelligence and digital solutions are revolutionising the hairdressing industry in his exciting and guaranteed fun keynote speech. ‘High performance in the salon of the future’ - coach Mauro Sciangula will reveal how this works. A special highlight is the panel discussion ‘She's the Boss: Power women in the hairdressing industry’, in which strong women talk about their path to the top - about passion, success and inspiration!
TOP Salon – The Challenge 2025: Who will win the title ?
The ‘TOP Salon - The Challenge’ awards ceremony, where the best hairdressing salons from Germany, Austria and Switzerland are honoured with awards in five categories, will of course once again be a permanent fixture at TOP HAIR. Which of the 13 finalist teams will ultimately take home the coveted trophy will be announced live on 29 March 2025 at the industry's leading trade fair, TOP HAIR - DIE MESSE in Düsseldorf.
ROCK YOUR HEAD – ROCK YOUR BODY: The TOP HAIR Party
After the spectacular special show on Saturday, 29 March 2025, the Main Stage in Hall 15 will be transformed into a vibrant party zone from 9 pm. A DJ and live music will ensure a legendary party night. A highlight that inspires year after year and proves that the art of hairdressing and party spirit go hand in hand.
