After this unusual and spectacular show, the focus will be on party time again – With live music and a party DJ, there’ll be dancing and partying until late at night.
Colour, cut and styling workshops
The workshop platforms have undergone some restructuring for the TOP HAIR International Trend & Fashion Days 2011. For the first time there will be four platforms each with a different theme: two on colour, one on cuts and another on styling. Visitors will therefore find the areas that are of interest to them both quickly and conveniently. Expert knowledge will be shared this year by Kelly Cardenas, the US star celebrated as “the next Robert Cromeans”, for Paul Mitchell, JeanLuc Paris for Goldwell, Keller the School and J.7 School for L’Oréal Professionnel, Sebastian Lynen for Sexyhair, and also teams from Wella, Alcina, Davines and TomCo. We should also mention Markus Strauss, the D. Machts Group, led by Dennis Machts, Kertu, Marlies Möller, mod’s hair, Ronald Reinholz, HairContrast and many others.
The Haircut Factory will focus on essentials: quite simply the cutting of hair – with scissors, razors, a haircutter or a knife. The shaving of hair tattoos is of course also part of it. Whether it’s new techniques or ergonomic tools, visitors can watch at closer quarters and have a chat with the protagonists – this year, for instance with Marco Wojach, Mike Karg, Stefan Lenk, J-Dee, Dana Wittmann and Alex Kübler.
Career click for hairdressing entrepreneurs
The TOP HAIR Convention will provide hairdressing entrepreneurs and ambitious employees with information on areas such as marketing, shop management, conflict resolution, personality formation and teamwork. Each subject area will be presented in a casual, memorable way by high-calibre speakers who will be showing what other things are important at a hairdresser’s apart from a haircut. This important information will be shared at TOP HAIR International Trend & Fashion Days 2011 by speakers such as Regina Först, Wolf Davids, Dieter Keller, Georg Ochs, Trudelies Grigoletto, Frank Brormann, Margit Hertlein and Raphaela Kirschnick. For the first time, on Sunday 20 March, the BoB Media Prize will be awarded on the convention platform.
Fun learning activities on the Monday
Monday will focus on the subject of “Career and Training”, with a special programme for newcomers, encouraging them to join in, to learn and to have some interactive fun. Visitors, too, can have a go on the workshop platforms and receive tips directly from professionals, whether it’s on cutting, dyeing or the development of their own collections.
